Easter Weekend 2010

So my Easter weekend was actually pretty busy without Vick. Friday night we went out to Double Dave's pizza, and it was pretty tasty!

Then on Saturday we went to the outlet mall and got some ideas. :) After we hit up that, my mom and I went to Michael's to sign up, and get our kits, to start our next cake decorating class that starts on Wed.! I'm so excited for that because we are moving on to gum paste and fondant. Cake Boss here we come...haha, just kidding! I'm not that good but it's fun and brings out my more creative side...Here is my finished course two cake!

After I found some nice slacks and a shirt I headed over to meet Christina so that we could go see her fiance Baldemar get baptized into the Catholic church. Now that was an experience for me, especially since I've only known the LDS church. I thought that the sermons weren't too bad but the standing up and sitting every two minutes got to be pretty exhausting. By the last hour I had already given up on standing, and I definitely wasn't going to do the sit, stand, kneel. We got there around 8:30 pm and didn't get done until midnight, which is when Easter mass would normally begin. After that we went to Denny's and had breakfast at two in the morning! It brought back so many memories for me from going dancing and then to Denny's with the girls afterwards!

Sunday was pretty chilled. I put together Vick's Easter Basket...

and headed down to the VA to visit him! We drove down to the Galleria mall, which is one of the largest malls in the U.S., and it was closed. We even found a Target that was closed...Target in STG doesn't even close on Easter...I know weird! Then we went back to the VA and talked. It was nice, but he is so ready to get out of there and I am so ready for him to be home!

When I got home my uncle called me to see if I wanted to go see a movie with him, and we went to Clash of the Titans. I liked it...I didn't love it but liked it. It was a lot simpler than I thought it was going to be, but the actions and graphics were pretty cool. Sam Worthington is definitely becoming one of my favorites!

So that concludes my Easter 2010 :)
